Kalkhof-Rose-Saal

The Kalkhof-Rose-Saal at the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz is a chamber music hall constructed entirely of wood, the only one of its kind in Germany. It opened in 2023 and offers excellent acoustics for chamber music and cultural events. The hall expands the range of events offered by the Academy, which is the only German academy of sciences to also have a department of music and literature, and creates a space for inspiring musical and literary encounters.
