They connect projects and partners, coordinate formats, data and infrastructure, promote interdisciplinary collaboration and showcase results – through events, digital resources, consultancy and science communication. In this way, they enhance the impact, applicability and sustainable use of research.

The WissKomm Academy is the competence centre for science communication at the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz, funded by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Science and Health. It brings together knowledge and ideas relating to the communication of scientific content and offers a dialogue-based approach to understanding the mechanisms, opportunities and challenges involved.
