The collaborative project HERMES – Humanities Education in Research, Data, and Methods is establishing a data competence centre for the humanities and cultural sciences. Nine academic institutions from Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate are jointly creating learning, research and networking centres where data skills are taught, further developed and critically reflected upon. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) (funding code: 16DKZ2009).
