  • 1994-1997 Pastor of the Church of the Augsburg Confession in Alsace-Lorraine
  • Since 1997 Professor of History of Christianity at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Strasbourg and head of the research group ‘Groupe de recherches sur les protestantismes des XVIe et XVIIe siècles et l'histoire des protestantismes’.
  • 2002-2007 Member of the Institut Universitaire de France
  • 2002, 2003 and 2012 Substitute lecturer in Neuchâtel and Basel
