Classical and jazz piano students come together

PIANOMANIA – The concert series of the Mainz School of Music in the Kalkhof-Rose concert hall of the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz is entering its third round!

Teachers and students play their favourite pieces on the Steinway Spirio grand piano – and on each of the evenings, classical music and jazz engage in an inspiring dialogue.
Each date is dedicated to a composer. Their works are interpreted classically and serve as a starting point for a musical response from the world of jazz.
