Fridays for Culture: Clara Vetter "What Dances Here"

Kalkhof-Rose-Saal

16. October 2026

19:00

In a spectrum that draws connections from jazz to impressionism and new music, Clara Vetter recounts her sensitive and multi-layered perception of the world around her. Her audio-visual, synaesthetic impulses are subtly reflected in her music. The result is an individual sound language that focuses on deep musical exploration and connects sensory impressions from external life with inner experiences, supported by artistic craftsmanship, virtuosity and intuition.
On this evening, Clara Vetter presents pieces from her new trio album What Dances Here, newly explored in a solo context. Through metaphorical, fairy-tale-like images, she spans a musical arc from inner and outer perception to fantasy – a dedication to the coexistence of reality, fantasy and further development.

The concert is part of our “Fridays for Culture” series.

Important note: There is usually a long waiting list for events held by the Academy in the Kalkhof-Rose concert hall. We therefore urge you to cancel in good time if you are unable to attend after confirming your participation. This is the only way we can adequately manage the waiting list. At the same time, we ask for your understanding that if you do not attend without giving prior notice, we will not be able to issue tickets to you in future.
