Ceremonial awarding of the Leibniz Medal to former Minister President Malu Dreyer

On November 7, 2025, former Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate Malu Dreyer was awarded the Leibniz Medal by the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz.

Malu Dreyer, former Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate, was honored during the annual academic ceremony for her outstanding commitment and dedication to the interests of the Academy. The Leibniz Medal is the highest award given by the Mainz Academy. With this honor, the Academy expresses its deep gratitude to Ms. Dreyer for her diverse support, active participation in numerous Academy events, and her special contribution to the visibility and strengthening of the Academy.

Andrea Rapp, President of the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz, presented the embossed silver medal, which has been awarded since 1960.
