Studies on the Boğazköy Texts (StBoT)
Since 1965, Studies on the Boğazköy Texts has been an internationally highly respected publication venue for philological, cultural-historical and linguistic research on Hittite Anatolia. A special focus of the series, which applies the highest scholarly standards, is the presentation of annotated editions of cuneiform and hieroglyphic textual evidence from Hittite culture far beyond the eponymous Hittite capital Boğazköy (Hattuša). Studies in German, English or French are published in the series; anthologies are only included in exceptional cases. Older volumes are made available for download as PDF documents on the Hethitologie-Portal Mainz.

HPMM is used for the cost-effective submission of research materials, primarily published on the Hittitologie-Portal Mainz (HPM), also in print. These are usually catalogues of cuneiform tablets or other artefacts from Hittite Anatolia, but also bibliographic and similar collections from the fields of Hittitology (Ancient Near Eastern Studies), Ancient Anatolian Studies (historical linguistics) and Near Eastern Archaeology. The publication is two-pronged: on the one hand, the volumes can be purchased in printed form from Harrassowitz, on the other hand, they are made available for download on HPM as PDF files.

Cuneiform texts from Boğazköy
With volume 70, the impressive series of issues of the cuneiform texts from Boghazköi (KBo), published since 1979 as part of the Hittite Research Project at the Academy of Sciences and Literature, Mainz, came to an end in 2015 (KBo 27-70). At the same time, the publication of the cuneiform finds from the excavations of the German Archaeological Institute in Boğazköy up to 2015 came to a provisional conclusion with this volume.
In the recent past, only small numbers of cuneiform texts were found during the archaeological investigations in Boğazköy. It is therefore to be expected that the traditional form of publication of this type of find in booklets with about 300 individual numbers would unduly delay the submission of hand copies of the new finds. At the same time, the system of publishing the textual finds from Boğazköy in the KBo series is not to be abandoned. Volume 71 is therefore conceived as a 'growing' volume, which is accessible online within the framework of Hethitologie-Portal Mainz (HPM) and can thus be supplemented year by year with new finds. KBo 71 will be printed by Gebr. Mann-Verlag when an appropriate number of pages has been reached.
Texts presented in KBo 71 should be cited in the established manner; the web address www.hethiter.net/kbo will be used as the place of publication until the publication goes to press.
