Die internationale Konferenz fand vom 7. bis 9. Oktober unter dem Titel ›MUSICAL SOURCES: PAST AND FUTURE. An international conference celebrating 70 years of RISM‹ statt. Das Dokumentationsvorhaben ›RISM‹ bzw. ›Internationale Quellenlexikon der Musik‹ gehört zum Komplex der musikwissenschaftlichen Editionsvorhaben innerhalb des Akademienprogramms.
Im Folgenden hält Armin Brinzing (Bibliotheca Mozartiana, International Mozarteum Foundation) einen englischsprachigen Vortrag zum Thema ›RISM Past and Future: Some Thoughts from the Viewpoint of Collaborators and Libraries‹.
