Master's Programme Digitale Methodology in the Humanities and Cultural Studies

The inter-university study programme combines applied computer science with the humanities and cultural sciences. The processing of different sources (text, language, music, 3D objects, geodata) with a focus on web technologies is taught in close relation to research. The course of studies is interdisciplinary and orientates itself on methodology instead of disciplines. The graduates are sought as qualified employees in many industries because they combine informatics skills with humanities thinking.

In addition to regular contributions to the lecture series, the Academy, against the institutional background of the Academy Program and the Digital Academy, focuses on digital editing, web applications and the practical module. The orientation of the one-week International Summer School (ISS). This annual highlight in the teaching activities at the Academy also functions as the opening event for the new students of each winter term.
